Maintown
This is the starting town for new players and veteran players who has just joined. In this town, you can find many custom NPC that can help with your adventures throughout the game. For the gameplay purposes, the central point of Maintown is located just below the fountain, where many NPCs resides.
Fountain and NPCs
Tina, Platinum Skill NPC
Tina is the NPC that can give you all the platinum skills for free which usually must be obtained through Platinum Skill Quests such as 
Phantasmic Arrow.
Rei, Job Master NPC
If you wants to make a character with the main job such as Swordsman, Archer, and etc. This is the NPC you have to talk to. Not only she can promote you to your 4th main job, she can also skip the entire quest of Rebirthing for you with absolutely no cost. Bear in mind that she won't give you any free starter item, so before you promote your character to its next job, make sure that you have the weapon (and ammo) to make leveling easier.
Kafra Employee
This is just your regular Kafra Employee. While almost all of her services are now replaced with better ones, you still need her to save if you want your respawn location to be other than Maintown. But hey, if that's what you need, you definitely need the Kafra from other town, not in Maintown. You can still use her teleport service, storage access service, and rent pushcart. Keep in mind that you can use @storage command to immediately open up the Storage Menu everywhere (except in certain areas and instances), and use the Portal NPC to warp somewhere, everywhere (not all areas of course).
Portal, Warper NPC
Portal, our beloved Warper NPC, Portal and Anna will be the 2 NPC you always talk to. If you want to go to most places whether it be: Instances, Dungeons, Fields, Guild Castles, Guild Dungeons, PVP Areas, and Special Areas, this little fairy will take you there instantly with absolutely no cost.
